And musicians have often complied, preferring to take their money and avoid problems with those in power. This election season is no different &ndash; the criticisms of yesteryear have fallen away and even previously skeptical singers like Koffi Olomide and Papa Wemba are throwing their talents behind Joseph Kabila&rsquo;s campaign. In fact, of the most popular singers, I think only Fally Ipupa and Ferre Gola have not endorsed Kabila&rsquo;s campaign.
