This despite a push by the Catholic church, most opposition parties, civil society groups, and some embassies to postpone local and provincial elections until after the presidential elections in late 2016. We are already beginning to see a slippage in the electoral calendar&ndash;&ndash;the electoral commission has <a href=\"http:\/\/radiookapi.net\/revue-de-presse\/2015\/05\/04\/la-prosperite-depot-des-candidatures-aux-provinciales-20-jours-supplementaires-accordes-aux-retardataires\/\">just<\/a> given candidates an additional 20 days to register for the provincial elections, until May 25.
