Interview with Ida Sawyer on the Kasais


This week Jason talks with Ida Sawyer, Central Africa director for Human Rights Watch, about the investigation authorized by the UN Human Rights Council into the violence in the Kasai region. According to the Catholic Church, the violence has killed over 3,000 people since it began in August 2016. Over 1,2 million people have been displaced during the period, more than anywhere else in the world during that time.
